It’s the home of “Uplifting and Encouraging” Christian-themed programming and can be heard on stations across Ohio including WCVO-FM in the Columbus market. Now, one year after merging operations with “Rise FM,” it is formally purchasing that entity’s five FMs and three FM translators in the Buckeye State.
River Radio Ministries has signed off on an asset purchase agreement that will see it take ownership of the following stations:

The total purchase price for the stations is $91,000.
The seller is Soaring Eagle Promotions of Bellefontaine, Ohio, led by Mark Boyer. It had been the home of Christian-themed broadcast operation “Rise FM.” That ceased operations in December 2024, with “The River” airing on former Rise stations through a LMA ahead of closing.
Now, paperwork is being filed that will finalize a deal in the works for 12 months.

This will continue and be strengthened in this partnership.”
The buyer is led by President/CEO Bill Montgomery. He added, “God’s hand has been evident all over this merger. Our organizations perfectly complement one another from signal reach to staffing needs.
