It markets itself as “the original classic television diginet” and is tied to the latest growth initiative from the company formerly known as Luken Communications, and doing business as Get After It Media.
Digital Networks LLC has seen much growth of late for its Retro TV offering. Now, it has added “America’s Finest City” to its list of TV markets.
Retro TV has added San Diego to its footprint.
Viewers in the market can now find Retro TV on KSDY-50.3.
The station is owned and operated by International Communications Network, and Digital Networks LLC believes it now has access to more than 2 million households in San Diego County.
The network airs classic programming including Doctor Who, The Lucy Show, and 21 Jump Street. The diginet is also the exclusive home to longtime soap opera The Doctors.
“San Diego is a fantastic market for the network,” says Retro TV president Joel Wertman. “We’re thrilled to partner with International Communications Network, Inc. who has such a long standing, great reputation.”
Michelle Diaz Agha, Chief Operating Officer of International Communications Network, Inc., adds, “Retro TV provides top-notch entertainment, and we’re excited to add them to the KSDY family.”
Thus far in 2023, the network has already added Charleston, South Carolina; Washington, D.C.; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and Des Moines, Iowa to their roster, with sights set on additional launches in the coming weeks.
