Minnesota-based Red Rock Radio Corporation is selling five Wisconsin stations. They are: WXCE, WLMX, WHSM AM-FM and WXCX.
Zoe Communications is the buyer. Wisconsin residents Michael Oberg and George Manus each own 50% of the company.
The parties have a local programming and marketing agreement now.
The price is $750,000 less a $75,000 deposit; the balance is to be paid at closing.
“Red Zone Sports Radio” WXCE(AM), Amery, is a Class B while “Mix 105” WLMX-FM is a Class C3 station. In Balsam Lake, “Red Zone Sports Radio” WHSM-AM and “Muskie 101” WHSM-FM, Hayward are Class D and Class A stations respectively and “105.7 The Fan” WXCX-FM, Siren is a Class A.
