Recovery Radio Live!, the first syndicated radio show to carry the 12 step message of recovery, will debut on KLSX-FM LA, 7/12 from 11 p.m. to midnight PT, adding listeners from the greater Los Angeles area, including Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino and Long Beach.
“The reaction that Recovery Radio Live! has received from the recovery community and beyond has been tremendous and we believe that the show’s message will translate to our audience and complement our lineup,” said KLSX Program Director Jack Silver.
Broadcasting live Saturday afternoons, 2-4 p.m. ET from Miami on WTFL-AM 850, Recovery Radio Live! also airs on WSTP-AM 1490 in North Carolina and on KHBZ-AM 990 in Honolulu and has listeners streaming the show in more than 120 countries on recoveryradiolive.com.
Recovery Radio Live! offers a new take on addiction, inimitably hosted by music industry veteran Ricky Leigh “Mensh,” who is himself more than 19 years sober. Mensh likens the show to an on-air meeting and true to his mission, he’s coaxed personal feelings out of Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, Three Dog Night’s Chuck Negron and Todd Bridges, of Diff’rent Stokes fame.
