PACIFIC PALISADES, CALIF. — He was President/COO of former broadcasting company Una Vez Más and today is associated with CNZ Communications. Now, Randy Nonberg is in the news for agreeing to sell a television station in Wisconsin.

The buyer? The non-profit broadcast ministry led by members of the Swaggart family.

Through Nonberg’s Delaware-incorporated Milwaukee Media LLC, the Louisiana-based Family Worship Center Church Inc. is agreeing to acquire WIWN-68 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, within the Appleton-Oshkosh-Green Bay DMA.

At present, WIWN airs the digital multicast network COZI TV on its DT1 signal, with Allen Media Group’s TheGrio network on DT2. Notably, WIWN has 12 digital subchannels, featuring Quest, GetTV, Oxygen TV, TBD, DABL, Sonlife Broadcasting Network, Twist, Carz & Trax, and non-secular offering Maria Visión.

The sale of WIWN marks one of the bigger transactions of the second half of 2023, with Family Worship, led by President Jimmy Swaggart, agreeing to pay $8.9 million for the station.

A $500,000 escrow deposit has been made by Family Worship, and is being held by its legal counsel in the transaction, John C. Trent of Putbrese, Hunsacker & Trent.

Serving as legal counsel for Nonberg is Jessica Rosenthal of Wiley.

Family Worship Center Church is a four-way partnership between Donnie, Francis, Gabriel and Jimmy Swaggart, with each family member holding 25% equitable interest in the broadcast ministry.
