Rainbow Warriors Football Heading To Scripps Sports

HAIKU, MAUI — The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics Department has reached an agreement allowing The E.W. Scripps Co.’s Scripps Sports to air five UH football games across the company’s television stations in the western half of the U.S.


Coverage begins Saturday, when the Rainbow Warriors take on Portland State University at home on O’ahu.

The match-ups Scripps will carry include:

  • September 13 vs. Portland State
  • September 20 vs. Fresno State
  • October 11 vs. Utah State
  • November 8 vs. San Diego State
  • November 29 vs. Wyoming

Scripps stations airing the games were not disclosed in an announcement distributed Thursday by UH. However, the following markets will get Rainbow Warrior coverage:

  • Arizona: Phoenix, Tucson
  • California: San Diego, Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo
  • Colorado: Denver
  • Idaho: Boise, Twin Falls
  • Montana: Great Falls/Helena/Billings, Butte/Bozeman
  • Nevada: Las Vegas
  • Utah: Salt Lake City
