The radio industry has expressed concerns that it will not receive the necessary funds to deal with various inconveniences tied to the broadcast TV industry’s post-FCC spectrum auction “repack” process.
Congress acted by giving the Commission the authority to implement new rules that will provide a more robust reimbursement plan. Now, the FCC is moving closer to actually getting those needed dollars to broadcasters other than big TV station owners.
