With soon-to-be NAB President/CEO Curtis LeGeyt, who succeeds Gordon Smith at the start of 2022, serving as moderator, a discussion of how the industry was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic — along with other major events of 2022 for broadcast media — will be had.

Participating are Graham Media Group President/CEO Emily Barr, Hearst Television President Jordan Wertlieb, and Salem Media Group President of Broadcast Media Dave Santrella.

The session will begin at 9:30am Pacific/12:30pm Eastern on April 12 and is accessible via the NAB Amplify platform. Current NAB President/CEO Smith will deliver opening remarks ahead of the opening session.

NAB Show Premiere is, in a way, an online version of the annual NAB Show normally scheduled for April in Las Vegas. The digitally delivered event will include new product launches, award presentations and networking opportunities.

The NAB will also present the TV Chairman’s Award to veteran radio and TV host Mario Lopez and announce the winners of the 2021 NAB Crystal Radio Awards live on April 13.

An NAB Amplify account is required to access “One Year of Broadcasting in a Pandemic” and all other NAB Show Premiere sessions.
