NEW YORK — I never intended to write a column based on my unfortunate experience of taking a 24-hour trip “home” to say a final farewell to a dear family friend. Yet, in between the tears and laughter and stories of disco dancing and love, something struck me.
Live and local radio was there, from the start of my trip to its conclusion at LaGuardia Airport on Sunday evening. It led to two conclusions: Local radio is alive … and how can marketers fully become aware of this??
