Radio Advertising Bureau President and CEO Jeff Haley is taking a seat on the board of directors at Avenue Right, a software company that streamlines the ad buying process for small- to mid-size ad agencies. Haley’s two year-term on the board began Friday, February 19th, but was not announced until Wednesday.

Avenue Right says it provides a channel-neutral platform that streamlines the media buying process for small to mid-size advertising agencies. “The web-based software enables the process of planning, scheduling, buying, and measuring both online and offline media — radio, broadcast and cable TV, print, online,” the company said in describing its business.

“As a member of Avenue Right’s Board of Directors, Haley brings not only his professional background of leadership in media and marketing, but in-depth knowledge of the benefits of radio as a medium for local advertising and the common goal of making radio advertising easier to buy,” the announcement of his board appointment stated.

The announcement noted that in addition to his role as President and CEO of the RAB, Haley also serves on the board of directors of the Ad Council and is a member of the Arbitron Radio Advisory Council. Haley told RBR-TVBR Wednesday that taking the board seat with Avenue Right is “part of the role” associated with his RAB duties.

Avenue Right is headed by Brian Gramer, its founder and CEO.  It is his third marketing technology start-up company, founded in January 2008. Haley is now listed as one of six directors. It is headquartered in Fargo, ND.
