CLEVELAND — The RAB autumn Board of Directors meeting concluded last Thursday with a new slate of officers and directors, unanimously approved at the Northeast Ohio-based affair.
Of the newly elected officers, the Chair role goes to the individual leading up Cox Media Group‘s radio stations: Rob Babin.
The other new board members on the RAB are:
- Vice Chair: Scott Sutherland, Bonneville International Corp.
- Treasurer: Julie Koehn, Lenawee Broadcasting Company
- Secretary: Jenny Nelson, Audacy
- Immediate Past Chair: Erik Hellum, Townsquare Media
“RAB plays a vital role in bringing our industry together to address the opportunities and challenges ahead for radio,” said Babin. “I am honored to serve as Board Chair and look forward to working alongside our board members, RAB leadership and industry partners to champion radio’s unique value, strengthen our industry and drive continued growth.”
Joining the RAB Board of Directors are Kevin LeGrett, of Beasley Media Group; Greg Davis Jr., of Davis Broadcasting in Georgia; Trip Savery, of Raleigh-based Curtis Media Group; and Peter Tanz, who leads Wisconsin-headquartered Midwest Communications Inc.
Additionally, Salem Media Group Chief Revenue Officer Linnae Young has been appointed to RAB’s Executive Committee.
