Steve Newberry-led Quu is making its mark with the “easy deployment of visual content for radio.”
Now it is growing its executive ranks with the hiring of an Exec. VP of Revenue and an Administrative and Contracts Manager.
Former Citadel Broadcasting West Region President and New Northwest Broadcasters President/CEO Pete Benedetti is taking the EVP role.
He’s widely remembered for his role at New Northwest, which he took in November 2002 after eight years at Citadel. In early 2009, he exited New Northwest to form Benedetti Media Group, with holdings in Billings, Mont.
Since 2012, he’s been the Colorado-based owner and CEO of AlwaysMountainTime LLC, specializing in bringing local content and advertising opportunities to a variety of media platforms.
Benedetti runs BMG Billings separately from the Colorado business. Benedetti will continue to be CEO at AlwaysMountainTime, providing strategic guidance and oversight, while Krista Benedetti has been promoted to President and will now oversee day-to-day operations for the media company.
“For over thirty years, radio has been my life’s work,” he said. “As we move forward, I look forward to collaborating with the best and brightest minds in the business to drive revenue and standardize dashboard display. In this undeniable time of change, Quu is the industry solution for radio’s automotive challenge.”
Concurrently, Lori Olsen has become Quu’s Administrative and Contracts Manager.
Olsen will manage Quu’s business relationships with its clients.
“I’m thrilled to help Quu inspire positive change for the industry I’ve worked in for 21 years,” Olsen commented. “Quu’s goal, and my focus, is to guide our partners every step of the way, working together to make the screenification of radio a success.”
Newberry said, “As a station owner, I’ve worked with Lori numerous times over the years and was always so impressed with her professionalism and personal touch with customer service. I’m grateful Pete and Lori are bringing their considerable talents and industry expertise to the Quu team.”
