TORONTO — Make no mistake, upward of 100 people will be losing their jobs at one of Canada’s largest French-language broadcasting, publishing and production business.
But, as TVA Group parent Quebecor puts it, it is “being forced to rationalize resources” at the subsidiary in a move that will help it “balance its cost structure, increase its operational efficiency and maintain its leadership in news coverage and content production.”
