There’s been a lot of gabbing about the Golden Arches’ latest move to keep its market share — and its high-flying stock skyrocketing ever-higher.


Last week, McDonald’s Corp. announced it would start offering its Quarter Pounder hamburger with fresh beef patties. It comes after rival The Wendy’s Company targeted a certain Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) chain for offering frozen beef to consumers.

The budding feud between the two fast food companies could be a good thing for broadcast TV, based on the latest data from Standard Media Index.
