Pessimism about the economy ruled on Wall Street as the third quarter came to an end. The bad news Friday was generally from overseas – a drop in Chinese manufacturing and higher inflation in Europe – but the market is global these days. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 241 points, or 2.2%, to 10,913. Radio and TV stocks fell along with the market.
The RBR Radio Index was down 8.951, or 3.4%, to 254.366.
The TVBR Television Index was down 7.550, or 4%, to 181.490.
