With spin-off deals in place and under Commission review, the FCC on Monday (5/21) opted to restart the process to get its 180-day “shot clock” moving again in its consideration of Sinclair Broadcast Group‘s proposed merger with Tribune Media.
It’s a positive sign for Sinclair, and for its shareholders, as no further deal amendments are likely.
