As the White House and key Senate Republicans seek recounts in an effort to prevent Biden from moving forward with a transition team, the Senate Commerce Committee proceeded as scheduled Tuesday with a hearing convened by Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) to consider the nomination by President Trump of Nathan Simington as a Commissioner on the FCC.

That’s something few could stop, as Mike O’Rielly‘s exit is all but set.

But, what about “controversial items” the FCC is working on? The top House Democrats on the powerful Energy & Commerce Committee want the Commission to stop. Now.
