Looking for a new way to connect by video with your company’s top leaders, no matter where they may be based?

Perhaps Osprey Video has what you are looking for.

The Dallas-based video tech company has expanded its encoder lineup with the rollout of the Talon G1H, a stand-alone hardware encoder that incorporates the key features of its predecessor, the Talon G1, but at a reduced price and an improved user interface.

“We wanted to create a product that was not only more cost-effective but also easy for nontechnical people to use when sending broadcast-quality content to the web,” said Scott Whitcomb, Osprey Video’s Business Development Manager. “We found that many of our customers need an encoder to deliver such content to multiple destinations, but they don’t need an HD-SDI input to do it. By eliminating that one feature, we’ve given those users an affordable encoding option without having to sacrifice the quality viewers have come to expect, and without needing any training to operate it.”

Although designed for nonprofessionals, the Talon G1H is ideal for use in corporate communications, giving radio and TV company C-Suites a new option for streamed meetings, quarterly earnings calls, and other interdepartmental uses. It is also designed for mobile broadcasts.

The Talon G1H has a list price of $1,190.
