WINTER PARK, FLA. — Drive on West Colonial Drive west of busy Interstate 4, away from Lake Eola and the center of Orlando, and you’ll reach the Pine Hills neighborhood. On Wednesday, a 24-year old field reporter and a photojournalist were dispatched here to cover a homicide investigation.
While at the scene, shots were fired. Today, the reporter’s fiancee, family members, colleagues and even the head of the NAB are in mourning. Meanwhile, the photojournalist is in critical condition.
