Entercom Meets Revenue Goals, With Big Impairment Charge


“Entercom delivered strong organic revenue and EBITDA growth in Q4 as our performance continues to accelerate across the organization and we gain traction on our various scale-driven growth initiatives.”

That’s the prepared quote from Entercom President/CEO David Field distributed along with his company’s much-anticipated Q4 2018 and full-year results.

While revenue was in line with analyst predictions, Entercom’s non-GAAP earnings per share missed Wall Street estimates. Investors don’t seem concerned, however, even as some may mistakenly believe Entercom suffered a huge net loss in the quarter.
