Opus Broadcasting Tallahassee, LLC has closed on the previously announced sale of its radio cluster in the Tallahassee, FL market to Red Hills Broadcasting, LLC. Media Venture Partners represented Opus in the transaction.
The seller is headed by Richard Linhard; the buyer by Hank Kestenbaum. The stations being sold are WQTL-FM and WWOF-FM Tallahassee FL, WHTF-FM Havana FL and WANK-FM Lafayette FL.
The price was $4M cash and the deal was first filed last November.
Opus is left with a three-FM cluster serving Alexandria LA and a four-FM cluster serving Monroe LA:

Country WWOF-FM is a Class C2 on 103.1 with 42 kW @ 541’
CHR WHTF-FM is a Class C2 on 104.9 with 47 kW @ 505‘
AC WANK-FM is a Class A on 99.9 with 5.5 kW @ 299‘
