On-The-Ground, Across All Platforms

This is a part of an exclusive series of in-depth reports focused on local television news coverage in Los Angeles of the Palisades, Eaton, and Kenneth Fires, which have transformed portions of Southern California over the last week, leaving thousands homeless and in need. With high winds again forecast to increase early today (1/14), we will continue to monitor the events across the Southland.

As the 3pm Pacific hour began on Friday, January 10, CBS Los Angeles — the twin TV stations of KCBS-2 and KCAL-9 — had been live and in continuous coverage of the Southern California firestorm for more than 72 hours.

Notably, this included multiplatform coverage extending to the Pluto TV FAST channel platform, bringing live coverage to viewers across the U.S.
