Six months ago, he departed Entravision Communications, where was a fixture at Entravision since its 2000 acquisition of Latin Communications Group. In late April, he resurfaced as a senior advisor to Carlos Moncada-led MLC Media.

Now, Jeffery Liberman has an expanded executive-level role across Moncada’s operations.

As of today, Liberman is serving as co-CEO and COO for Nueva Network and the Spanish-language broadcaster’s affiliated North Atlantic Media.

It’s an expansion of efforts at MLC Media undertaken by Liberman since he joined to help Moncada evaluate the business and build a detailed action plan for continuing Nueva Network’s growth. Following the plan’s implementation, Moncada promoted him to his current position.

Regarding his promotion, Liberman told Streamline Publishing’s Radio Ink, “Moving forward, our main focus is to grow the company linearly while expanding our digital advertising opportunities targeting the U.S. Latino market. Specifically, we will be building upon our current streaming and podcast offerings by expanding into Connected TV, Social, and digital out-of-home.”

While Liberman served as President/COO of Entravision until the company concluded his employment, he and Moncada had worked closely for more than 15 years through a collaboration linked to the syndicated program helmed by longtime U.S. Hispanic air personality Alex “El Genio” Lucas.
