It’s been long stated that the voluntary rollout of the ATSC 3.0 digital broadcast standard will bring consumers of NEXTGEN TV better-quality visuals and bigger sound. At the 2023 NAB Show, which begins with ATSC-focused sessions on Saturday at which Sinclair Broadcast Group CEO Chris Ripley will be present, his company; NBCUniversal; and Pearl TV will demonstrate many of the improved audio accessibility features that are available with the new broadcast standard.
These new features, the companies note, are set to make television more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
