High schoolers and college students alike may enjoy the ability to drive to school, or in the latter case, have access to a vehicle while living on- or off-campus. And Kelley Blue Book has a top ten list of vehicles that should appeal to this special group.
Many of the selections, notes KBB, should appeal to parents as well.
To make the list, beyond simply being a good car, the selections had to be priced no greater than $20K, give or take – two of the top ten went over that amount by about $500.

The Fit might just be the most versatile vehicle on this list, able to carry as much gear as a small crossover, yet boasting a much smaller footprint and better fuel economy. The list also contains other terrific choices that are as fun-to-own as they are affordable to own.”

RBR+TVBR observation: This may offer a chance for some quick-hitter last minute sales. There isn’t a whole lot of time left before school starts, particularly for college kids. We’d go ahead and bring this list to the attention of the appropriate clients ASAP.
