The issue was whether Channel 3 WJLP-TV Middletown Township NJ could use a virtual channel designation that was in conflict with Meredith’s WFSB-TV Hartford CT. At issue was the possibility of confusion for residents of southern Connecticut.
The station, owned by PMCM TV LLC, had led somewhat of a charmed life up to this point.
