News Corporation and Permira announced that they have closed their deal to buy out the public shareholders of NDS Group and have it continue as a private company. NDS is now owned 51% by Permira and 49% by News Corporation. NDS supplies open end-to-end digital technology and services to digital pay-television platform operators and content providers.
