From 8-9 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser: Couples” (3.2/9 in 18-49, 8.6 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in the time period in adults 18-34,18-49 and 25-54 and most other key demographics. From its first half-hour to its second, “Biggest Loser” grew by 3 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.2 from a 3.1).
“The Biggest Loser: Couples” delivered NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period excluding sports since last May 25. In total viewers, it’s NBC’s top non-sports score in the slot since November 30.
NBC coverage of the Sate of the Union Address aired from 9-10:13 p.m., followed by the Republican response and segments of analysis that extended to 11 p.m. Coverage of the address and response was sustaining and will not be included in nightly or weekly averages. From 10:13-10:25 p.m. ET, State of the Union analysis averaged a 1.9/5 in 18-49 and 7.7 million viewers overall. From 10:36-11 p.m., additional analysis averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall.
NBC is #1 for the night in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics. significant revision due to live news coverage, but they currently show NBC leading the night in adults 18-49 and virtually all other key demographics.
