NBC, 'The Biggest Loser' just so-so audience

From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 12” averaged a 1.9/5 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall in a fiercely competitive time period that included Fox’s “X Factor” special, ABC’s “Last Man Standing,” “Man Up” and “Dancing With the Stars” and CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles.” 


From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” increased by 24 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.7).

“The Biggest Loser 12” matched its rating of the prior week in 18-49 and is up week to week by 5 percent in total viewers (5.451 million vs. 5.168 million).

At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of “Prime Suspect” (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) is up versus the 10 p.m. rebroadcast of one night earlier by 43 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 1.0 vs. a 0.7) and 19 percent in total viewers (2.888 million vs. 2.426 million).
