For nearly 10 years, he served as President/General Manager of WCAU-10 and WWSI-62, the NBC and Telemundo O&Os under NBCUniversal serving the Delaware Valley. Now, he’s in the Windy City taking a role formerly held by Paul Rennie, who retired in 2023.
Taking the role of VP/GM at WGN-9 in Chicago and the Nexstar Media Group station’s related mobile, online and social media platfoms is Ric Harris.
WGN Radio will remain under the leadership of Mary Sandberg Boyle.
Harris reports to to Brandin Stewart, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Nexstar’s broadcasting division. Before joining NBCU’s Philadelphia stations, Harris served as President/General Manager of WVIT-30, NBCU’s Hartford-New Haven property, from 2013 to 2015.
