It is pretty much a given that the network which has the Super Bowl rights each year wins that week in the ratings. NBC managed not only to maintain that tradition, but had the week’s top three TV programs. #1, of course, was the actual game, followed by the post-game show, with “The Voice” maintaining enough of its lead-in to claim the #3 spot in both Households and the big money 18-49 demo.
In HH overall NBC had an average 9.9 rating and 16 share, followed by CBS at 5.3/9, Fox 4.0/6, ABC 3.3/5, Univision 1.8/3, CW 1.0/2, Ion 0.7/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.3/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.
In 18-49 NBC was at 7.7/20, with Fox 2.4/6, CBS 1.8/5, ABC 1.5/4, Univision 1.4/4, CW 0.7/2, Telemundo 0.5/1, Ion and TeleFutura 0.3/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
Here are the week’s top 20 programs:
