NBC: “Grimm” wins at 9:00 in 18-49

NBCFriday Primetime Results:


* At 8 p.m. ET, “Who Do You Think You Are?” (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.8) and by 2 percent in total viewers (4.727 million vs. 4.638 million). “Who Do You Think You Are?” earned a three-week high in adults 18-49.

* At 9 p.m. ET, “Grimm” (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW, as well as men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54.  “Grimm” built on its lead-in by 78 percent in 18-49 rating.

* “Grimm” grew week to week by 23 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.3) and in total viewers by 11 percent (4.955 million vs. 4.454 million). “Grimm” delivered its top 18-49 rating since March 2 and equaled its highest since January 20.  In total viewers, it’s “Grimm’s” high since March 9.

* At 10 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) is up week to week by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0) and 16 percent in total viewers (4.754 million vs. 4.091 million).

Pending updates, it’s the top Friday “Dateline” in total viewers in five weeks (since March 9).  From its first half-hour to its second, “Dateline” grew by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0) Dateline and 12 percent in total viewers (5.0 million vs. 4.5 million).

In late-night metered-market households Friday night:

* In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.9/7; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.3/6; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.2/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.5/4.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4; “Late Show,” 0.5/2; “Nightline,” 1.2/5; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.

* At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.7/5 in metered-market household) beat CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.2/4). 

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped “Late Late Show” (0.4/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters
