NEW YORK — It’s a win for both NBC and ABC when it comes to customer rankings based on engagement and loyalty, as determined for the 28th consecutive year by Brand Keys. At the same time, FOX News Channel dominates among those who consume MVPD-distributed offerings.
The results of the 28th Annual Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Engagement Index (CLEI) are also notable as they reveal a pivotal shift in the brand landscape. Consumer expectations jumped 32% year-over-year, marking the largest single-year increase since the survey’s 1998 inception.
“This surge in expectations has transformed the competitive terrain, with 40% of product and service categories identifying new No. 1 brands in their ability to meet evolving consumer demands,” Brand Keys notes.
The CLEI measures how effectively brands create loyalty, a key predictor of consumer behavior, sales, market share, and profitability.
