If your NBC affiliate is in Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Kansas City, Tallahassee, Denver, New Orleans or Portland, you may have local talent heading for the sixth season of "Nashville Star." The singing competition will air on NBC this year, moving over from cable sister USA. As in the past, the winner of this season’s search will receive a recording contract with a major label. One change this year is that the producers are not only auditioning solo acts, but duets and trios as well.
The multi-city casting tour kicked off over the weekend in Pittsburgh and Milwaukee, and is scheduled to hit Charlotte, Kansas City, Tallahassee, Denver, New Orleans and Portland, OR.
