In a major change of viewpoint on one of the touchiest subjects facing the radio broadcasting industry, the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters, led by Jim Winston, has notified the FCC of its “discontinuance” of support for a rule change that would pave the way for GeoBroadcasting Solutions’ “ZoneCasting” technology.
The flip-flop on “ZoneCasting” led four groups in support of the technology to lambast the shift, pointing fingers at the NAB.
