Cable / SatelliteBroadcasters aren’t usually aligned with cable operators but on one issue, they are united with smaller operators.


NAB has joined the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors and a local franchise authority in Minnesota in a federal appeals court challenge to an FCC ruling.

The parties oppose the commission presuming that the largest cable companies are competitive in a market and can raise rates without approval from local municipalities.
