WASHINGTON, D.C. — The founder and Chief Executive Officer of the growing radio station ownership group Connoisseur Media, and a pair of television industry C-Suite leaders, have been appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters Board of Directors to fill recently vacated seats.

Jeff Warshaw joins the radio board, representing District 24, and replaces former Alpha Media executive Bob Proffitt.

Veronica Rodriguez and Matt Schnaars join the television board, filling the seats previously held by Pilar Ramos (TelevisaUnivision) and Phil Tahtakran (NBCUniversal), respectively.

The appointments, made in accordance with NAB bylaws, are effective immediately.

Following its 2025 acquisition of Alpha Media Group, Connoisseur now operates more than 200 stations across markets covering roughly 20% of the U.S. Warshaw began his career at the Wharton School of Business, building his first station as a student, and has since led two successful broadcast companies. He is chairman of the Nielsen Audio Advisory Council and the outgoing chair of the Radio Advertising Bureau board. x

Rodriguez serves as EVP/Co-General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for TelevisaUnivision. Prior to joining TelevisaUnivision, Rodriguez spent over a decade in private legal practice with top firms in New York.

Schnaars is President of Platform Distribution and Partnerships for NBCUniversal, where he leads distribution strategy for the company’s linear and streaming services across multiple platforms. Schnaars previously served as president of NBCUniversal Content Distribution. He also held leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company in national accounts for ESPN and Disney networks.
