CBS Corp. sees itself as a “next-generation content company.”
What better showcase could there be to show off where the company that may be best known as the home of NFL football and The Big Bang Theory is going than the 2017 NAB Show in Las Vegas?
That’s where CBS Corp. Chief Digital Officer and CBS Interactive CEO Jim Lanzone will deliver a Keynote Address at the NAB Show’s Online Video Conference.
The Online Video Conference is one of 12 conference tracks offered in Las Vegas, and is set for April 24-25. It will feature panel discussions and research on evolving online viewership trends and streaming models that are revolutionizing the television and video industries.
The keynote session will be held in a Q&A format moderated by Will Richmond, editor and publisher of VideoNuze, producer of the conference track.
Lanzone’s session, titled “Inside CBS’s Transformation to a Next Generation Content Company,” will take place on April 24 and will focus on the digital initiatives and multi-platform strategy that has grown CBS into a digital media entity of size and substance.
In his role as Chief Digital Officer of CBS Corporation, Lanzone oversees digital media strategy across the company and cultivates the growth of new and existing digital streaming services. As the Chief Executive Officer of CBS Interactive, Lanzone has more than doubled CBS Interactive’s audience.
