In a deal that’s just been filed with the FCC for its regulatory approval, a Class A FM with a signal scraping Lexington, Ky., from the south has just been sold.
The buyer is led by President Karen Moses.
Moses’s SIM NJK Communications Corp. is agreeing to purchase WNJK-FM 105.9 in Burgin, Ky.
The seller is Choice Radio NJK Corporation, led by Jonathan L. Smith.
And, he’s earned $225,000 in an agreement that sees Smith move ahead and conclude a forbearance agreement with Vernon R. Baldwin Inc. struck in June 2014.
As such, Baldwin is satisfied with the funds owed by Smith, while Moses is gaining control of the FM.
