More on “Opportunity: Automotive Service”

Your readership at RBR must be exploding.  I’ve had a ton of calls and emails regarding my memo “Opportunity, Automotive Service.” 


Most of them are looking for ideas to go after the automotive dealers.
 
Here’s an idea that’s very effective—“WINTERIZE YOUR VEHICLE.”  Unless you live in Death Valley or Phoenix, it’s time to winterize.
 
Admittedly, it is mayhem in the automotive capital.  No one knows from hour to hour on General Motors and Chrysler.  But, one thing remains the same and that is every dealer is desperate to do business.  Nothing changes…the service department produces the greatest amount of profit.  So, my advice remains the same:  Tough times build tough people.
