Darnell Washington’s Destiny Communications owns and operates indy KTGF-TV in the Great Falls DMA. It’ll be expanding its operation with an LMA/option on three area FM stations in a deal with College Creek Media. College Creek is owned by Chris Devine.

The trio of radio stations includes KZUS-FM, on 101.7 MHz out of Highwood MT, KEAU-FM, on 102.7 MHz out of Fairfield MT, and KUUS-FM, on 103.9 MHz out of Vaughn MT. Destiny claims to be one of only six African-American full power television licensees in the USA.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to offer Great Falls and North Central Montana a complete entertainment package with radio and television stations,” said Washington. “The listeners and viewers will have a locally owned operation that they can be proud of and count on for great music on the radio, entertaining television programming and job opportunities.”

“College Creek Media is pleased to announce this time brokerage agreement with Destiny. It gives us an opportunity to operate in Great Falls while still developing the company’s other properties” added Devine.

RBR/TVBR observation: Another creative deal, which makes it another sign of the times.
