The latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report is out, and for the week ending May 28, activity for a rebranded, consolidated OTT platform easily put all comers in the dust, ranking as the No. 1 campaign heading into the Memorial Day holiday.
Gone are the individual Discovery+ and HBO Max platforms, combined as “MAX” as of today. And, the Warner Bros. Discovery team that controlled the spot cable budget for Discovery+’s rollout appears to have influenced the Max activity at spot cable.
That’s because Max spots last week totaled 110,610 — mirroring the MVPD-heavy spots seen for Discovery+ when that platform first ramped up.
The activity dwarfs that of Chase, Domino’s, and Booking.com, while Sleep Number is new to the Spot Ten.

Meanwhile, Dove is the big No. 1 at Spot Television thanks to a surge in activity from the week ending May 21, pushing it ahead of Dupixent, McDonald’s and accident attorneys Morgan & Morgan.
