A Class A FM radio station and its AM sibling with 1,000 watts of power, both of which serve the Missouri communities of Bonne Terre and Farmington, are being transferred to a new owner.
Thanks to a modified agreement between the buyer and seller, we now know how much more valuable the land, building, improvements and towers are, compared to the licenses and permits tied to the AM/FM combo.
Earlier this month, MKS Broadcasting agreed to spin KFMO-AM 1240 in Flat River, Mo., and KDBB-FM 104.3 in Bonne Terre, Mo.
A Contract Amendment and Modification Agreement has now been submitted to the Commission, and it sees C. Odle Enterprises LLC taking the stations and all that comes with them for $150,000.
But, how much of that payment is tied to the licenses and permits?
The answer is $37,500, with $112,500 assigned to the land, building, improvements and towers.
Upon closing, the station will be owned by Jay and Theresa Odle. Closing is set for Friday (12/31).
