Minnesota FM Drifts To Subarctic Buyer

A Class C3 FM serving New Ulm, Minn., that for the last 11 years has served as a simulcast partner of a Rock station based in Mankato, Minn., is trading hands.

The buyer is Subarctic, but we believe no polar bears are heading to the studios and sales offices.

Since July 2008, KHRS-FM 105.9 in Winthrop, Minn., has been a 24/7 simulcast partner of KXLP-FM 94.1 in Mankato.

Now, Ketelsen Radio is selling KHRS to Subarctic Media LLC for the sum of $71,000.

It’s a quick and easy deal for the buyer and seller, with no broker involved.

David Linder leads Subarctic.
