The Media Financial Management 2025 conference concluded Wednesday in Arlington, Va., and the MFM association and its President/CEO Joe Annotti are already looking ahead to its 2026 affair, which will see a full integration with Financial Executives International (FEI) for the first time.

The co-located, co-branded MFM/FEI Conference is scheduled for May 17-20, 2026, in San Antonio. “Executives from both organizations highlighted the natural synergy between their memberships, emphasizing that the joint conference will foster enhanced networking opportunities, deeper community-building, and access to a broader and more diverse audience of finance executives,” MFM said. “The combined reach is expected to attract high-profile speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, creating a dynamic environment for learning and business growth.”

Annotti explained, “Combining our annual conferences is an extension of our primary mission to educate, inform, connect, and engage financial professionals in the media and entertainment industry. The media industry does not exist in a vacuum, and opening doors for MFM members to build networks with their counterparts in the dozens of industries represented by FEI members, including banking, hospitality, and technology, can only contribute to a more valuable experience for members of both organizations.”

The 2026 event will feature joint general sessions, networking events, and breakout sessions, as well as business meetings and recognition activities tailored to each association. An expanded Expo Hall will showcase innovative solutions and services from sponsors and exhibitors, offering unparalleled exposure to key financial decision-makers and fostering lasting business relationships.

“We are expanding the tent without jeopardizing the unique nature of the educational offerings we provide to media and entertainment industry financial professionals in a way that benefits members, sponsors, and exhibitors,” added Annotti.

Andrej Suskavcevic, CAE, President/CEO of Financial Executives International and Financial Education & Research Foundation, said, “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to advancing the profession and supporting the evolving needs of financial executives. By joining forces with MFM, we are creating an inclusive platform where leaders from diverse sectors can connect, share insights, and drive innovation together. We look forward to welcoming our members and partners to San Antonio for an event that promises to set a new standard for excellence in financial leadership.”
