Meet Audacy’s New Chief Marketing Officer

It’s a whole new Audacy Inc., with CEO Kelli Turner officially assuming the role at the company formerly known as Entercom in mid-March as Chris Oliviero became Chief Business Officer and Bob Philips was named Chief Revenue Officer.


Now, Audacy has a new CMO.

And, the role is going to a 17-year company veteran who rises from EVP of Marketing Solutions and Strategy — Jenny Nelson. 

Nelson, whose maiden surname is Gervasi, has been associated with the company since 2008, when she was named Director of Marketing Solutions. From 2003-2005, Jenny was an AE at Susquehanna Radio’s San Francisco stations. For 6 years before that, she served as a Senior AE at BBDO.

In her new role, Nelson will oversee all of Audacy’s marketing efforts, including brand/design, research, B2B marketing/activation and corporate communications. She will also continue to focus on sales enablement and supporting Audacy’s local and national sales, the company said on Thursday.

Nelson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English from Emory University and an MBA in Marketing from San Francisco State University, heard just prior to her joining Susquehanna Radio.
