MediaCo’s Sigma Bows Digital Audio Network

Sigma Audio Networks, the recently launched national arm of Estrella Media parent MediaCo, has brought to market a new digital audio network the company says is designed to connect advertisers with multicultural audiences across premium digital audio environments at scale.

Operating under the Sigma umbrella, InterWave is designed to provide marketers and advertisers access to upward of 210 million monthly unique listeners across digital audio content delivered to consumers via mobile apps, web players and other digital listening environments.

InterWave extends Sigma’s national terrestrial footprint into the digital ecosystem, allowing a CMO to sign off on a campaign activation across both broadcast radio and digital audio platforms by way of a single, unified network.

“Audio consumption continues to grow across digital platforms, but multicultural audiences remain underserved in many digital advertising ecosystems,” said Sigma President/CEO Elisa Torres. “InterWave changes that. By combining premium digital audio environments, transparent inventory, and advanced targeting capabilities, we’re giving advertisers a powerful new way to reach diverse audiences with measurable impact.”

MediaCo President/CEO Albert Rodriguez added, “Through InterWave, that audience reach now extends into the digital audio ecosystem, allowing advertisers to connect with our listeners across mobile, web, and other digital environments while maintaining the authenticity and cultural connection that our stations have built over decades.”

In addition to Estrella Media, MediaCo’s assets include heritage New York audio brands WQHT “HOT 97” and WBLS.
