Matthew Perry joins The Good Wife cast

Former “Friends” star Matthew Perry has been cast in a recurring role on the CBS primetime drama “The Good Wife.” The Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee will first appear in an episode airing March 25th.

CBS says Perry will play “Mike,” an extremely charming Chicago attorney tasked with heading up a blue-ribbon panel that’s investigating a suspicious police shooting.  When “Alicia,” played by Julianna Margulies, is assigned to be on the panel, she begins to question the actions he is taking as the chairman.

The Good Wife airs Sundays (9:00-10:00 pm ET/PT) on CBS.
