The Pittsburgh-based company known for its media ad sales platform has released the agenda for its sixth annual Media Ad Sales Summit, scheduled for November 8-10, 2023 at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel.
The agenda from Matrix includes a mix of panel discussions, keynote conversations, and a town-hall style roundtable with media executives. Overall, the conference will focus on addressing the media industry’s biggest challenges and opportunities.
Among the sessions scheduled for this year’s summit are:
- TV/Video Measurements & Currency (attribution and data)
- A ‘Local Media Outlook 2024’ discussion with some of today’s top media agencies
- “Tomorrow Tangible Today: Dispatches From the “Future”, which will delve into a few of the most promising tech innovations on the horizon for TV/video and media, including generative AI, “big data,” natural language processing, the “metaverse,” and, ATSC 3.0.
- The ‘Political Advertising: Local’s Biennial Fix’ session, which will dissect the proverbial floodgate of new PAC-funded political ad spending into the U.S. local TV marketplace, how long it will continue, and what it will cost.
Additional sessions aimed to keep attendees up-to-speed with the media marketplace will include a keynote conversation with station group leaders who will share their up-to-the minute insights on the current state of broadcasting and share their predictions for the year ahead.
