She’s been named several times as one of the “Most Influential Women In Radio” by Streamline Publishing‘s Radio Ink. She’s also widely known for her former role as Director of Marketing for Alpha Media. Today, she leads her nearly three-year-old media marketing and public relations firm known as P’Pool Media, and has just been elevated to the Board of Directors for the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. organization.
As of today, Randi P’Pool succeeds longtime Board member and former National Spokeswoman Denyse Mesnik on the Board, as P’Pool rises to the MIW Advisory Council.
Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. is comprised of top-level female radio professionals who use their experience, influence and resources to help other women in radio develop management and leadership skills.
P’Pool previously served three years as a volunteer on the MIW PR committee. She began her radio career in 2000 on a morning show in Yakima, Wash., before moving to Salt Lake City, where she worked as a Promotions Director and on-air personality for nearly a decade. She then headed west to Portland, Ore., to join Alpha Media. Within a few years, P’Pool was promoted to Corporate VP/Marketing for the company. In 2019, she moved to Aptivada (now known as Audience) to accept the role of Chief Marketing Officer.
“We are so lucky to have someone of Randi’s caliber join our Board,” MIW Board President Ruth Presslaff commented. “Randi has worked diligently on the PR Committee and has earned this Board seat. Knowing Randi, I suspect we’ll get a lot done and have a whole lot of fun doing it! That said, I will miss working side by side with my dear friend and now Advisory Council member Denyse Mesnik. Both Baldassano and Farber are founding members of the MIW organization.
